About the genus · Cyphostemma

Cyphostemma is a flowering plant genus in the family Vitaceae, with around 250 species distributed throughout the tropics and subtropics. These species are caudiciform and used to belong to the genus Cissus. The genus name comes from Greek kyphos, meaning hump, and stemma, meaning garland.

Cultivation

Grouped as a cactus or succulent by the genus Cyphostemma, which is reliably one kind of plant (archetype table). The table holds no figure for this group, which spans too much for one minimum, and no habitat climate is derived yet; no cold floor is given, and no prose comes from the table.

Nothing derived: no habitat climate for this species, and the archetype table has no figure for its genus or family.

Climate across the habitat

No habitat climate can be derived: Only 2 distinct land cells of the climate grid hold an in-range record; three are needed for an envelope.

Native range as published by WCVP.

Evidence usedThe map marker rests on all 2 georeferenced records inside the native range, all openly licensed and shown on the map. Under a dozen records: treat the map as indicative. No climate envelope is derived for this species.
